Beginning September 1, the FMHS Office will host a bi-monthly discussion group on the series, “The Chosen”, led by Carol Johnson, Rev. Each session will use a segment of the DVD series for Season 1, followed by a guided set of reflection questions. Sessions will be 4 to 5:30pm at the FMHS office located at

Effingham County Connections is holding an event to connect families with community resources. It is a fun time for parents and children with games, treats, and give aways. The event is being held at the Cornerstone Christian Church parking lot on Sat. Oct. 29th, 1-3 pm.
